I stayed at a hotel that allowed pets once. The smell of chemicals in the room from cleaning up after them was too much. We finally decided to burn popcorn in the microwave to overtake the chemical smell. I'm not sure I would want to revisit a place like that. I think I would lean towards a kennel for my dog - or even bring him and let him sleep at a kennel while we stay at a hotel.
